RANDALL HAGNER ANNOUNCES LEASE TO NEW RESTAURANT,
For Immediate Release – Washington, D.C. – June 11, 2008 – Randall Hagner Ltd., which recently merged with Woodmark Commercial, represented the landlord of
Randall Hagner Senior Associate, Bev Williams, and Associate Mark Witschorik represented the landlord in securing the restaurant for the former Childe Harold space. Robert Schwartz of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Darlington House.
“This building is over 100 years old and still owned by descendents of the original owner, the
Darlington House, which was granted use of the name by the building ownership, offers fine dining just above street level, a casual cantina downstairs, and a third floor library serving cappuccino and pastries. The restaurant recruited Chef Alexander Schulte, formerly from The Modern in New York to, create the seasonal menu. After extensive renovation, the restaurant opened its doors in April, 2008. The Darlington House shares ownership with Sesto Senso, a fine white tablecloth restaurant at 18th & Connecticut, and the Cleveland Park Grill at 3421 Connecticut Avenue.
