Woodmark Principal Geoff Kieffer will lead the marketing and leasing program along with colleagues Jennifer Kurz and Rick Gannon.  Management of the facility, which includes a conference center, will be led by Woodmark’s Harold Nelson, who will bring his 20+ years of facility management to bear as Project Manager on this unique property.

Woodmark Principal, Ed Beanblossom, said, “Woodmark’s origins were as a property management firm and we are committed to providing the very best services to The Pew Charitable Trusts.”  Mr. Beanblossom added, “We understand The Pew Charitable Trusts’ unique mission and together, know that we can manage and lease this fine asset consistently with that mission.”

We are excited to work with Woodmark to fill the remaining space in our building,” said Rebecca W. Rimel, President and CEO of The Pew Charitable Trusts. “Nonprofits play a unique and important role in the District, and we are honored to be part of the effort to strengthen their presence in our nation’s capitol.”

901 E Street, NW was purchased by The Pew Charitable Trusts and has undergone a complete renovation, including a new HVAC system with newly installed chillers, cooling towers as well as new VAV units on each floor. This Class A property features three levels of underground garage parking, a state-of-the-art conference center, and an updated fitness facility. The Pew Charitable Trusts will be seeking LEED certification for the building. The Pew Charitable Trusts will occupy approximately 90,000 square feet of the building and, through Woodmark, lease the balance of the building to like-minded nonprofit organizations.
