02/25/2010 - Reading is Fundamental Relocates to 1255 23rd StreetNicole Leombruno
For Immediate Release- Washington, DC- February 25, 2010- Woodmark, an affiliate of The J Street Companies, today announced that Reading is Fundamental (RIF) will move their office to approximately 18,000 square feet at 1255 23rd Street, NW, in the heart of the West End submarket, for the next ten and a half years beginning in May. They were previously located at 1825 Connecticut Avenue, NW.
Woodmark Principal, Geoffrey Kieffer, commented, “The opportunity created when the Bureau of National Affairs vacated the West End submarket fit RIF needs for a building in a mature neighborhood with excellent transportation and access.”
RIF is the oldest and largest children's and family nonprofit literacy organization in the United States. They prepare and motivate children to read by delivering free books and literacy resources to those children and families who need them most.
