
Alex Green joined Woodmark in 1999 as a partner of Woodmark Commercial Services, LLC.
Mr. Green's knowledge of the local marketplace is unparalleled with 23 years of experience in the leasing of office space on behalf of owners and tenants. Furthermore, his knowledge of the investment sales market and construction expertise allows Mr. Green to provide his clients with the most updated market intelligence.
Prior to joining Woodmark, Mr. Green was a Vice President with Transwestern Commercial Services for five years, and worked for the developer LCOR for five years in charge of their downtown Washington DC office. In his role with LCOR, his responsibilities included the financing, construction, leasing and tenant build out of 1425 New York Avenue, NW, a 265,000 square foot building finished in 1991, the development of an office building in Lansdowne, VA and an IRS facility in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Prior to that, Mr. Green was one of the original brokers who began third party commercial brokerage at The Charles E. Smith Company. His career began in 1983 at Coldwell Banker Commercial in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Green holds broker licenses in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland and is a Board Member of the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (BID) and the Georgetown Waterfront Task Force. He graduated Cum laude from Harvard.
