Partial conversion/renovation of existing warehouse and new mixed-use development This project represented the redevelopment of an existing167,000 sf warehouse structure currently occupied by the Smithsonian Institution. The plan preserved much of the original 4-story concrete and masonry structure (constructed in 1927), and incorporated it as part of a striking new mixed-use design with a Class A office building with retail elements.
