Doug Hale is a Vice President of Land for the J Street Companies, focusing primarily on suburban Washington, DC land sales.

Mr. Hale has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, including land acquisition, design, development, construction, project management, remediation and corporate real estate. Prior to J Street, he served as Vice President, Development for The Maven Group in Bethesda, MD, with responsibility for due diligence for potential acquisitions, creation of  loan packages and management of all aspects of the company’s development teams.  Prior to his position at The Maven Group, he served for more than 15 years as Project Manager for Real Estate Joint Development for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), where he led teams in negotiating complex public-private development agreements for transit-oriented development.
