George Voris

George F. Voris has 25 years of diversified, commercial real estate brokerage experience in the Washington, D.C. region and Stamford, Connecticut. He has provided tenant representation services for a variety of corporate tenants including: Xerox, GTE, AT&T, Inter-American Development Bank, US Synthetic Fuels Corporation, DC Retirement Board, Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, K&M Engineering, Startel International, Comsat International and a number of other firms. He has also represented the following law firms: Shanahan Law Firm LLC, Eidson & Bonello LP, Drinker Biddle & Reath, Rogers & Wells, Bruder Gentile & Marcoux and King & Nordlinger.

George has sold development land in excess of $50 million including prime sites on Pennsylvania Avenue and in Clarendon, Virginia. He has represented building owners in leasing Rosslyn Center, a 400,000 square foot building and 2121 K Street, 125,000 square feet for Aid Association to the Lutherans.

George has been with J Street for 13 years and served in senior positions with two national commercial brokerage firms, Coldwell Banker and Barnes Morris & Pardoe. He worked in commercial and international banking in Chicago, Seoul, Korea and the Middle East. In Washington, D.C. he was a project investment officer for Overseas Private Investment Corporation and Economic Development Administration of the U.S. Government.

George is involved in various professional affiliations throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area.  He is a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of NAIOP and the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors.  Additionally, he serves on the planning committee of Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD and is President of the University of Notre Dame Washington, D.C. Alumni Club.
